I know this might sound a little strange and weird. But I bring this up because I was outside playing with my dog last night and got a mostique bite on my tattoo that I have on my shoulder. Now I'm not too sure if I'm the only one this happens too, but I swear I am allergic to mostique. Every time one bites me I swell up where they bite me and it itches really bad. Well to the tattoo part. Since the bit was ironically right in the middle of my tattoo, my tattoo decided to get all raised and bumpy. So I was wondering if this has happened to someone else. I will admit that my tattoo will get raised and bumpy on it's own sometime without the bug bite.
However, I have read that this is normal and there is nothing to be scared of. It has to do with something with the ink. Honestly I don't think people really know why this happens but it does and you shouldn't be alarmed by it. Well back to the bug bite. Usually, what I do is grab a piece of ice and rub it across my tattoo for a while and then dry it off and put some lotion on it and the bumpiness usually goes away.
So the moral of this story is don't fret if you notice your tattoo getting raised and bumpy from a bug bite. Nothing is wrong and it will go down soon. However, the only time you should worry about your tattoo getting raised, bumpy and itchy is after you have gotten the tattoo, Which this reaction may indicate that your are allergic to the ink and you should contact a doctor asap.

Tattoo Removal in Belfast
Tattoos that seemed a good idea at the time, very often can become regrettable mistakes for whatever reason. Occasionally the chosen tattoo does not turn out as planned or a change of mind can occur after the event. Fortunately now there is a solution. We no longer have to live with tattoos we have grown to dislike, or perhaps a tattoo that was "cool" when you were 19, at the age of 40 may to you be very "uncool".
At Laserase Medical Skincare on Belfasts Antrim Road we have been removing tattoos since 1993 with excellent results. Over the years various products or solutions to tattoo removal have come onto the market but research has shown and the medical journals will verify that the treatment of choice yielding the best results for removing tattoos is laser. Yet here again, the market has been flooded with lasers, some better than others. At Laserase we did extensive research before purchasing a laser exclusively designed for eradication of tattoos, and we bought the best on the market for this procedure.
Removing tattoos is a medical procedure and in our clinic highly trained doctors and nurse laser specialists perform the treatment ensuring the highest possible standard of care and achieving excellent results.
So often customers have told us they had initially gone somewhere else that was offering cheaper treatment but ultimately came to us having wasted money on the cheaper options, proving the adage, "you get what you pay for". Most of our customers come to Laserase because they have been recommended to do so by friends or family members as it is well known we deliver the results we promise. Our treatments at Laserase have stood the test of time, the reason we have been in existence since 1993 providing the highest standard of medical care.
Tattoos have been around for many centuries and tattooing is undoubtedly a highly skilled art form. They come in all shapes, sizes and colours. Among our customers are tattoo aficionados very often getting a tattoo removed to replace with a different one.
Regardless of the size or shape they can be removed as can most colours. No one laser can remove the various colours and this is why at Laserase we have a number of lasers to tackle the eradication of different colours.
Cost is a thorny issue in these days of recession. However, we provide a payment plan and with treatments spaced at 2 or 3 monthly intervals this makes tattoo removal more easily affordable.
Take the first step of telephoning for a consultation which is presently free of charge. Then, when the treatment process starts the tattoo will begin to fade gradually until with each subsequent treatment it will continue to fade until it eventually disappears. What could be more simpler?

Tattoo Pain
First its a good idea to decide what part of your body youd like your tattoo to be placed at. This will greatly determine the level of pain. Getting tattoo over bone, like on your ankle, or over a portion of the body where the skin is tight hurts more. Also pain is how you think about it, gauge the tattoo pain in the context of your life experience. If you're young or havent been through surgeries or accidents much, and haven't experienced much pain in your life, then a tattoo will probably hurt a lot. If you've experienced great physical pain, such as in childbirth, the tattoo pain will pale in comparison, no big deal been there done that.
Being tattooed in an area that has muscle mass like on the arm, back, or calve seems to be the least painful for most people. You shouldnt be overly tired or emotionally exhausted on the day of your tattooing. Dont be too cold or too hot either. Talk to the tattoo artist if youre uncomfortable at all because there might be some adjustments that can be made to increase your level of comfort.
"I've wanted a tattoo for about three years but deciding on what design I wanted was the most difficult decision of all. I wanted my tattoo to be special to me and have great significance every time I looked at it." I looked around the web for hours. I finally decided on a design to be place on my lower back. I wont reveal what it means but as far as I know, no one else has it and as it has great significance for me and I want it to stay that way! I went down with my best friend to a local tattoo shop. She was already booked from the week before and was told there was a waiting list of at least five days. Good indication that they knew what they were doing. If business is that good then the luck of getting a great tattoo was even better I thought. When the day came my friend went first, this gave me much more confidence. On the day of my tattoo my appointment was scheduled later around five. People I worked with had tried to freak me out with tattoo horror stories on how the pain was so unbearable. Anyway it felt more like a burning sensation than needles. It was like having a bad sunburn and applying alcohol to it, or something that would irritate it. Three quarters of the way through was the worst of it, and then the pain subsided a bit. It wasnt bad and I feel like it was, in a way, a right of passage. It looks better than I had hoped for and Im very happy with it. Everyone has a different experience with pain and tattoos. It seems like every person will tell you something different. I have personally tattooed hundreds of people, and can tell you there are no generalizations. Some women and men do horribly, no matter where they get tattooed, while some women and men can sit without the slightest hint of pain. I have not seen any difference between men and women at all in regard to a pain threshold. The worst part of it for me is when I get someone who will not sit still. It can be so difficult to lay a proper tattoo when someone is wiggling around non-stop. Another thing to watch for is the endorphin rush. About 15 to 20 minutes into getting a tattoo, you will notice it starts to hurt less or it stops hurting completely. This is due to endorphins or your bodies own natural pain killers.
Pain is an interesting side effect when getting a tattoo. For some people the process and the pain is the more important part, and the art is just secondary, almost like something they can brag about doing. Some people want the experience and for others, they want the art but wish they could get it without the pain. Whatever group you fall into, know that tattoos do hurt, sorry to say. It is a few needles repeatedly entering your skin over a period of time, so pain should be expected. Just remember, where you get the tattoo will change greatly how much pain you will feel!

Tattoo Charity
When you think of charities you probably don't even think about tattoos in the same sentence. Well I was pleasantly surprised yesterday to find out that this one tattoo parlor in Phoenix was holding a A 15-hour long fundraiser for Phoenix Childrens Hospital. A 30 minute session with one of the tattoo artists from Living Canvas Tattoos cost only $15! You honesty can not beat that price when an average 30 minute session would probably start at around $60 and up depending on the tattoo artist.
This charity event was a birthday celebration for the tattoo studio. They were celebrating 15 years of services so they thought 15 years with $15 tattoos for 15 hours would be a great event. The owner of the tattoo studio said, There are so many charities, how do you go wrong with kids?. Which I think is fantastic. It just goes to show that even tough man covered in tattoos that probably lead not so normal life style still have a huge heart for children and charities. The Owner Mark Walters, knew this event would more than likely be a huge hit and expected the rough bikers dudes to show as well as the average soccer mom because the money was going to such a good cause. However, Mark did state that any tattoo design will be accepted as long as it fell into the 30 minute session if not the $15 would not apply.
I truly think this whole concept is wonderful. I wish more tattoo studios would do things like this. It benefits not only tattoo enthusiasts but it also goes to a great cause! So listen up tattoo studio owners think real hard about following in Living Canvas Tattoos footsteps. The satisfaction of doing something great for someone else far out ways any dollar amount you could earn from given a tattoo.

Tattoo Parlors In Delhi
Thinking of getting inked? Its good to know more before going ahead with it. There are two types of tattoos - permanent and temporary. The temporary one is available in the form of stickers and can also be done with temporary ink. These are not harmful and fade away within a week or two. A permanent tattoo, on the other hand, stays with you forever. It is a permanent design that is etched into your skin with the help of needles. The tattoo artist injects the colors inside your skin with a needle to form a design. It is a little painful process and may take up hours, depending on the size and style of design.
There are many good tattoo parlors in Delhi which deal in permanent and temporary tattoo. The charges are around Rs. 1,500 for a one-inch tattoo at most of these places.
Devil'z Tattooz in Vasant Vihar is one of the most popular tattoo studios in Delhi offering thousands of tattoo designs. They make use of hygienic and sterilized equipments and ensure that their clients do not have to worry about infections and diseases.
Body FX studio in Karol Bagh is another popular tattoo studio in Delhi which boasts of hi-tech tattoo equipments. New, sterilized needles and inks are used at this studio. Simple and complicated designs including god and angels, zodiac signs, devil, cartoons, tribal designs, symbols and customized options can all be done.
Celestial tattoo parlor is at the rear end of the silver store in Greater Kailash, Delhi. The tattoo parlor is known for high quality tattoo designs and for maintaining high standards of hygiene. People from different parts of the city visit the studio to get themselves inked. The studio deals in both permanent and temporary tattoos.
In West Delhi, KDZ Tattoo is known as a reliable tattoo studio. You can visit them for piercing, permanent tattoos and for temporary tattoos as well. The artists here make use of highly sterilized equipments so that the clients do not develop any infections later on.
MetroMelas Tips
Some of the tattoo dyes used in the design may cause allergic reactions like rashes. So it is better to get a test done on a patch of skin to check for sensitivity related issues.
Ensure that only new needles are used and that they are sterilized. Contamination can lead to infections and diseases.
Getting a permanent tattoo is a painful process and therefore you must make sure that you are mentally prepared for it before you get it done.
Also be 100% sure of the design you wish to get done because of the permanence factor.

Shoulder Tattoo Designs For Women - Making an Original Statement
Women didn't venture into the world of shoulder tattoos until as recently as ten years ago. Before women really began experimenting with different types of tattoos, they mostly stuck to the timeless ankle and wrist tattoos, which are styles that never get old. The socially accepted options for women seeking tattoos have expanded, and women are getting tattoos that they traditionally wouldn't have even considered as viable.
The popularity of tattoos for women is on the rise, with lower back tattoos at the head, but shoulder tattoos for women aren't following far behind. There are a wide variety of designs for women to get on their shoulders, so much so that there is possibly a design for every type of personality out there. There are also two types of shoulder tattoo, which really makes the possibilities for shoulder tattoos endless.
Just like men, women can get shoulder tattoos on two specific areas: front of the shoulder, and on the shoulder blade. The shoulder blade is much more popular for women, while getting one on the front of the shoulder and down the arm is the preference of men. Both areas are easily hidden from sight if need be, and a tattoo on the shoulder can do no wrong, only make it look even better.
Women usually choose more feminine and symbolic designs for shoulder tattoos than the ones men usually get. Fairies, zodiac signs, butterflies, dolphins, and tribal signs are all popular shoulder tattoo designs for women. When a woman gets a shoulder tattoo she takes consideration of placement and style. Would a tribal sign look great on the front of the shoulder? Probably not unless it wrapped from the front to the back. A zodiac sign probably won't look great on the front either, but a fairy probably would.
Like most of the tattoos that women get, shoulder tattoos are in an easily covered area. If she doesn't want to show off the beautiful pair of dolphins she just got inked, she doesn't have to. If she doesn't want the man she's dating to know she has a tattoo, she doesn't have to. The shoulder tattoo can be an after effect of a woman's beauty if she wants it to be, though most women get shoulder tattoos to show them off.
The shoulder and the nape of the neck are both very sensual spots on the body and get a lot of unspoken attention from the opposite sex. A shoulder tattoo is a bold way for a woman to express herself whenever she wants. With so many sizes and designs, there is not much of a reason for any free-spirited woman not to get a beautiful of stylish design tattooed to her shoulder.

Sexy And Unconventional Spots For Your Next Tattoo
Are you a woman who wants to get a sexy tattoo but aren't sure where? The location of your tattoo is a big decision, so don't take it lightly. This article omits the lower back, not because it isn't sexy but because it is the most commonly tattooed area on the female body, and you're looking for something original, right? (You may also be wary of the "tramp stamp" stereotype that comes along with a lower back tattoo.) You can get a unique design that is perfect for you in one of these sexy locations.
7 Sexiest Locations for a Tat
Of course everyone has different notions of what makes a tattoo attractive, but the general consensus is that there are some general areas that just look great with a little ink on them. In the 1990s we did the lower back tattoo craze, so now let's move on to some more innovative locations that are a little more forward-thinking.
Back of the Neck - The nape of the neck is a very provocative area of the female body. The nape of the neck has billions of nerve endings, which is why it is such an erogenous zone. Japanese Geisha wore white makeup on their face but left skin showing on the back of the neck because of its provocative power. Our clothing styles don't really show this thinking, but there's no denying the sexy appeal of the back of the neck.
Upper back - Related to the nape of the neck is the upper back tattoo. The center of the upper back over the spine, or shifted over to the side over one shoulder blade, is a great place to tattoo. It's a great place to tattoo because it can easily be shown off with a tank top or hidden by putting on a T-shirt. The back is a great canvas for a tattoo.
Hips - This area of the female body is so obviously a sex symbol, it hardly needs any explanation. Hips have a distinctly feminine curve and are the new incarnation of the lower back tattoo. If you like the idea of tattooing your hip, you can choose a design just over one hip or you can do both sides.
Ankle - The woman's ankle is a very suggestive part of the body, and the right ankle tattoo draws focus to the curves of the leg and looks great with a pair of strappy sandals or heels. Ankle tattoos have been around for a long time but are a classic that will never go out of style.
Wrist - This is becoming a very popular place to get tattooed, after being neglected for a long time. Wrist tattoos are still relatively rare, so you'll be sure to be unique and get lots of compliments about your wrist tattoo. Use caution if you think you might run into problems if you need to conceal your wrist tattoos for work, hwoever.
Thigh - The thigh is another sexy part of the woman's body. Thigh tattoos are simple to cover up and don't require a whole lot of effort. Something fun about the thigh tattoo is that regular clothing usually hides it - so the person who is intimate enough with you to know about the tattoo shares a secret that only the two of you have together. That type of intimacy is sexy in itself.
Side - Another unconventional tattoo choice that is appealing, interesting, and easy to cover when necessary. Women often opt for lettering on their side, but it's quite easy to do a design that compliments your curvy, elongated shape on the side of your ribcage.
